Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Barrie, Hillsdale, Collingwood, Orillia, Lagoon City, Washago, Midland, Coldwater, Orr Lake, Innisfil, New Tecumseth and Angus. Severe thunderstorms are possible through early evening. Thunderstorms have already developed in some areas and the activity is expected to intensify through the afternoon hours. Large hail and damaging winds are expected to be the main threats. An isolated tornado can also not be ruled out
