Hey Guys, Going out on Sunday looking for the Pike. I am having trouble finding them in the summer, been away for a couple of weeks but back on the water this weekend. I was going to cruise Cooks bay and Fox. Even thinking of zipping over the Georgina, but not really fished it in years. Taking my son out, so it would be nice to see if we can get a few in the boat. Gonna be a warm week/q\weekend, so i am thinking they are gonna be active this weekend.  ;D |

Was out in the Bay Wed. or Thurs. last week and they were hitting pretty hard in 8-10 ft. of water. Caught 4 (released) in the 30 in. range between 11 am and Noon on #5 spinners.

THANKS! i am thinking that with the sun this week they are gonna be quite "frisky" for a bite. Mid day makes sense. Thanks again. |

HA HA! i am at work and cannot view, but will when i get home tonight. I am going to take your challenge as i spend many many hours on Cooks bay. i am going to see if I CAN identify the area by the shoreline. Thanks for the fun tip. |

Was out today from 11 am - 1 pm. Beautiful day on the water but the fishing was S-L-O-O-O-W. Tried all my usual areas and no luck at all.

Well? how did you make out? yeah bite was BAAAAAD! Caught a few perch, nice size. It was tuff trolling due to all the weed chops. Out again this weekend, looks like some "normal fall' weather so the bite may be back to normal. |

 OK this past Sunday was better for the bite. Was out about 10:30 and was not having much luck until about 2:30. Caught a few ok size fish and one nice Pike. Was about 30" long and hit HARD with a nice fight. The bite is still tuff this fall.
