I haven't ate one since the luther marsh hay days. Wish there was more of those things around!

Ate some last night. I was up north with the family hunting deer and noticed alot so went out with the shotgun the next morning. Ummm was it good.

Pretty scarce around where I live don't see em much any more, dad use to bring one home for Christmas dinner if he saw one deer hunting

I saw a nice male last weekend near Stouffville, the first I've seen in almost a decade. Probably one that escaped from the pay-as-you-hunt club a few concessions away. My dad and I used to hunt the fringes of the club in the 80's, and got the occasional chukar too. From what the MNR says, there's no huntable wild population of either pheasants or bobwhite quail, and those of us who know where they still are keep it to ourselves.
