Take care of yourself. Selfishly relying on your hard water reporting... Only half kidding

You guys always have kind words for me ,for that im very greatful . Im told im in very bad shape when it comes to high blood presser .., if thats the case why do i feel other wise ? I feel in fact pretty good , walk zac 2 or 3 times a day , not over weight , what gives ? No pills are controlling lower presser so im just going to lead a normal life and see what happens ., this might sound sick but if i drop dead perhaps on the ice doing what i love , ill be a happy man . As of now im figgering i got about 20 years still to go

i've read that HBP is a silent killer, not many symptoms.
does it run in your family?

Get well Peter. I deal with high blood pressure which causes me to take medications. This is something you don't mess with and make sure you stay on top of this. I had a buy a blood pressure machine to keep checking up on it. You are to good a guy to let this slip by the wayside. All the best and here's to good health the rest of the way for you. bp

Peter don't stop your meds. I did that several years ago and it almost killed me. I had very high blood presure and every time I went to my doctor he gave me more pills to no avail. I got fed up and stoped taking all of them. at the time I had no drug plan and the cost was creating more stress that was only making things worse. after a couple of heart attacks I had the angiogram and recieved 2 stents. that helped for about a year but my bp started to go up again and had a third heart attack. the doctor at the emerg room sugested seeing a new doctor that had just come to town so I did. she started a new course of meds and got me to a specialist at university hospital in London who recomended a tripple bypass. after recovery from surgery I felt 20 years younger. five years later I still feel great and with the help of my new meds my blood pressure is normal. my expierience is probably different from yours but the point I am trying to make is DON'T GIVE UP. maybe a second oppinion is in order.
looking forward to many more years of ice reports.
sincerly woodenboat.
