Its kind of interesting that the guy dident want to give me the ticket with out seeing my licence , perhaps thats the key , show nothing , you know what thy say , no ticket ,no laundry .
This morning i sent an email to spca head office , i included the video of my interaction with the officer , lets see what happens .

I commented on your video. GOOD FOR YOU to not hand over crap to anyone coming to your front door. I also would refuse to even speak to a police officer at my door. They have no right to anything unless you've committed a crime or being arrested. The gov't can't just come to your door and demand personal info. Tell them to get a warrant if they want more....or arrest your dog...he was the one barking...!!!

yes thats my dog barking , can you guess who just came to my door again ? yes thats right , Mr SPCA Officer , short and sweet this time , he handed me the ticket this time , i accepted it , had a look at it , seems the guy got my licence from elsewere , i said thank you and he left ,.
what do you think the next move is ? do i fill in the back of the ticket ? do i do nothing ? I have a couple ideas , but want to know what you think .

Hi Peter: I would not ignore the ticket. More than likely you would be found guilty in absentia. Take the option to go to court. Once you have been given the court date, then ask the court clerk how you can receive discoveries. That means you should be provided ahead of time, the information or so-called "proof" the court will be using against you. Then you can be better prepared.
If you believe it's your disgruntled neighbour trying to cause grief, put together a log of any run-ins you've had with him. What they were about and from as far back as you can remember and right up until the court date. Try to be as specific as possible including dates and times if you can. Perhaps it will show the court the guy is just using the SPCA deal to get back at you.
Something to keep in mind................If it is the neighbour and he finds out it's going to court, be prepared that he will more than likely want to catch your dog barking on video.
I'm sure you know this anyway but I thought it would help.
Cheers

I must have missed something as the usual course of action is to advise you of a complaint and then warn you that a ticket will be issued if nothing changes.
But to be honest, if a dog barks especially if no one is knocking at your door the dog is most likely having anxiety issues. When a dog barks it doesnt give them any physical pleasure, it's a sign that they are distressed. Similar to humans shouting....there must be a reason for this behaviour.
I am a staunch supporter of personal liberties but I am also a dog lover.
Please consider what I have suggested instead of being offended by the complaint.

I use to work at the spca for Dryden and Kenora area and have never seen an officer with out some kind of badge on his vest or shirt.....second thing is if he was going to give you a ticket he would have handed you the ticket with the info you gave him and then he would have made notes stating that you declined to give him your drivers licence

You have to like Peter's style .Non confrontational unlike me .LOL Geesh like as if they can't get Peter's name from address already . Funny the lad already knew his name and there is no need to threaten with OPP since they will just run Peter's plate and tell the silly F##K . No Biggy .OPP ENFORCE LAWS of the Province and Land . Not BYLAWS .LOL I personally have met Zack many times and he has even been here to my home . Heck that heathen Peter has even had me on one end of his lead .LOL He is a puller but non aggressive . I never found him to be that vocal either than beyond the norm of most dogs . He is a hound and does have a voice but never found Zack to be an excessive barker or yodeler and trust me its something I don't like nor encourage with my pup Lucy beyond the basic .
As a neighbour I would document Zacks anxiety barking if that is occurring and speak to Peter first . Peter doesn't stray far from his dog Zack . If he is getting anxious at his age you can't break that if it is even occurring . Put a camera on him in your house Peter .Not expensive and most have a voice mode for you to talk him down . If it is BS you will have proof that it is and your ticket will be in front of a JP not a real Judge of the laws of the land .
It has to be proven that Zack is excessive so for a $125 bucks I would fight .Not even sure they can collect it unless it goes against your land taxes . lol

Thanks guys for the comments , first thing is , zack doesent have anxity issues at all , in the video , you hear zack barking when Mr Officer knocks on the door , with in a min he stops , if anyone comes to the door he would do the same , bark . now howling ? i have never heard zack howel , ever .
im going to included a facebook link as it makes for some good entertainment , i know about tickets and what i need to do , should i fight the ticket and im vindacated , i can ask for coasts , fat chance i would get that . i dont want to do this for nothing ,like to see a rainbow when all is said and done , i dont just want to get off , id want reinberstment for my time .
The people next door , in all directions post on fb thy have never hurd zack at all , this is coming from a retirment bulding across the road , if zack barks when some one comes to the door or walk by the house , thats no reason to isses me a ticket . what happens if i just say fu and do nothing ? im not sure thy can saspend my licence in this situation .

From my understanding, the only person you have to show your drivers license to is a police officer when requested to do so. Your license is issued to prove you are lawful to drive a motor vehicle. Bylaw, SPCA or the bouncer at the bar has no right asking you to produce it for id purposes.

Seems someone doesent like my dog zack , but to be honest he never hollows , but will bark on occation . That really sucks Peter I am currently in a war with my neighbour over the same sort of thing dogs barking and such persistent barking as determined by the Canadian courts I believe must last for more than 20 consecutive minutes to be considered persistent

So here's the story guys, when I sent the paperwork in I got a reply with the court date however on the paperwork it said something about witnesses didn't have to show up the document was good enough outlining their statement, so because of that the fix was in and I didn't bother going , I was found guilty $125 fine plus $20 service charge but you know what f*** them
