Hey - name is Dave, from Newmarket.
Purchased my first alum boat this year (14ft'r) and have made a few trips to Cooks Bay because of the close proximity to home. Haven't spent enough time on the water to figure out best tactics and locations for bass in the bay. Would love to learn as much as I can as fast as I can so that I can make the most out of the few months of soft water we have left (where did the summer go?!) Hopefully i'll be able to contribute info to the board as well....
Happy fishing!

Hi all new member here, i stumbled upon the site by accident glad i did.
Many years ago my Grand parents owned a place on Miami Drive and all my childhood summers were spent on Cooks Bay it was a great time in my life. I look forward to getting back on Cooks Bay it has been a long time since i have been in the area 30 or so years lots of changes and by the sound of it the fishing is better than ever.

Just wanted to say hi to everybody. Lots of familiar names I see here. Great job as always Pete. I was up by your place on Sunday and braved the nasty conditions. I looked around for you but didn't see ya anywhere Thanks for the email the other day or I might never have found you Should be up there again this weekend so I'll drop by and say hi. Cheers Don

Nice board Peter, hope to see some of you on the hard water. Didn't get out much in my boat this year due to the closure of my plant. Over 1100 out of work courtesy of Michelin !! Retired now so look out perch come the hard water. Everyone have a safe hard water season that is soon to come !

Hello everyone, I live in Kitchener and fish Lake Simcoe in the hard water season. Can some one tell me if there are any public launches that can handle a larger boat with an out drive. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi my name is Jim or newbie. Live in Georgetown, Ont. Have a Princecraft 16 plus boat with a 40 horsepower. Love Cooks bay just do not fish it enough. Spent June 30th - July 2 in Keswick, fished the bay 2days out of 3 due to high winds. Ate at the Pasadena Restaurant in the marina we docked at and it was the best meals in a while. Will post pics and report later. Truly an addict to fishing and especially lures.
