Hi everyone, I'm Siana. I live in Mississauga. I'm new to this board. I haven't fished at Simcoe as much (only did the Barrie Perch festival), but am planning to fish more at Cooks Bay this year. I mainly fish for Bass, Walleye. Still learning to fish for other species. Hope to learn more from you guys!

Hi All
I'm from Aurora. Last year was my first year on Cook's Bay or Simcoe. Learned a lot from all the helpful folks on this board.
Looking forward to another great year on the bay! Can't wait for pike opener.

Hello everyone,
I moved to Aurora last year and only started fishing cooks bay recently. I typically avoid it due to my fear of winds kicking up in a hurry, as I only have an inflatable boat.
Took a trip out this past Saturday and had a blast. Can't wait til opener this weekend!

Hey Folks. Haven't done much fishing on Simcoe but plan to remedy that this year. Any other kayak anglers out there?

Hi everyone. I haven't fished in a long time and got bit with the bug again. I was looking for shore fishing spots not too far from the GTA. Cooks bay looks very promising. Hoping to contribute once I get cracking again. Any advice on fish species at Cook's Bay or other spots is always appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Everyone: New fisher, fishing with kids, for kids. Although initially I was not attracted to fishing, now I am kind of liking it as I can spend more time with my kids and family rather than fishing. The excitement and happiness on their faces when we go fishing is worth going to fish. Thank you.

Hi All I'm from Mississauga. Started fishing Cooks Bay this summer with my wife and son and have really enjoyed it.We used to boat in Lake Ontario but are planning to dock in Cooks Bay next spring. We're new to fishing so will probably have lots of questions.

Hello, i am theyoungyak. I am 21 years old living in Keswick near the water and plan on doing some fishing in cooks bay as well as some surrounding lakes. I recently bought a kayak and will be fishing out of that for the most part, still new to the kayak but I think it will be fun!

Hi everyone: I've been registered for a while but am just getting around to my intro now. Some of you may know me from a couple of other boards, but for those who don't, I'm a multi-species angler living in Keswick. I just started ice fishing this past season and loved it, and during the summer, I'm out quite a bit in my inflatable, either in Cooks Bay or one of the Kawartha lakes going after different species. I also do quite a bit of shore fishing, again just trying to get different species. Last year I managed 22 different without a tremendous amount of effort. If my name and avatar didn't give it away, I'm also an avid fossil collector. My avatar is a 50 million year old herring from Wyoming. I'm pretty impressed with this board so far, especially the daily reports, and hope to contribute in any way I can.
