Let the pictures melt into your subconscious so this way when you show up you’ll know to stop get off and look around before you transverse from shore to ice. This has been a Public Service Enouncement.

Hey Peter - put up some of those mishaps on the cars and trucks that park too close to each other on the ice.
It will be a good warning!

Not quite sure about a visit. Yea, didn't make it last year. The guys have a problem with the passport thingy. I have one of course, but my son Jeff doesn't and probably won't bother for a year or so. Not sure Peter! I want to come, but not alone. I'm sure you must have seen a bit of a downturn in your US clients from that passport law finally coming into effect. In another year or more the people here south of the border will start accepting things and begin getting passports. We'll see.
Thanks for the pic!

This was the day before they all went in. I'll try to find all the interesting pics of mishaps on the lake I have. Not real good at organizing them on my puter. RR

A few more way out in the lake. Only a $1000 to pull him out. Of course there are others too. If I remember this one was just being held up by a big chunk of floating ice. RR

This guy only had one wheel in but wasn't going anywhere. my buddy pulled him out with his sled. And this one goes with the first one I posted. I posted the pic telling people not to park close together. The next day I took this one. I didn't take this one but it is one of my favorites.

Has any one seen ice truckers...... well this isn't it. My momma always said you can't teach common sense. The food chain shows humans at the top of the chain but I beg to differ. Thankfully no one was hurt or killed. The police pic is the funniest - stupid is as stupid does. Imagine the ribbing back at their unit .... probably goes on to this day.

Its funny, that pack mentality where people always want to cram in close to each other wherever they are.
