I went ice fishing again and I had a blast! Went to try for some lakers and on my first jig I had a hit! The fish were really aggressive for the morning bite. Caught quite a few and lost a few. I still have to fine tune my hard water jigging. I could get them to chase but not to commit. You can see them chasing on the vexilar. Those things are AMAZING!!!! My last fish was the best. I moved my vexilar to another hole and see something on bottom. I drop my lure quickly but it disappears. Then it shows up, then disappears again. I'm thinking its a glitch. Then it appears again and starts making a B-Line towards the surface. So you have my lure slowly falling and this thing climbing rapidly. I watched like a video game and when the two made contact? I set the hook hard!! ANd fish was on. Gave me a nice battle and brought it in! What a rush!! And now for the pictures of the fish. I cant believe I have been missing out for so long!!!! No more jonsing all winter waiting for the season to open in may!!!!

I made an account on Photobucket.com. Then you upload your pics there. You take the web address of the photo you want and copy it. Then when you are making a post here you click the button with the icon of a photo. When you click it it will insert * ![]() ![]() * you then paste the location of the pic in between the * ![]() PASTE HERE ![]() * Hope that helps

Here is my personal best laker to date caught last year, very disappointed with the quality of this picture didn't notice how bad it was until after the fish was released, still a monster though definitely at least 20.

My first laker to touch 20lbs from Simcoe caught in June 2013, scale was bouncing around 20lbs even, may have been just under or just over.
