I made it down to the south end today for a while past the executive. No crappie ........yet. We caught some perch but it doesn't seem like the jumbos are staging there to spawn either. We fished in 14' of water in the FINGER type area on the maps.
Looked it up on the Internet and from what I read it could be a hybrid. Reason I'm saying this is cuz it looks likes a white crappie but has no vertical stripes(pattern is scattered like a black crappie) everything else matches up saying its a white crappie. They say this can happen when black and white crappies mate. Can someone confirm?
frenchie19: I think there is a free launch on the Keswick side of Cook's Bay .. however I have never launched on that side. I have put in at Innisfil Beach Park and have also used Cook's Bay Marina. I think it cost me $20 to launch and $20 to park last November

crappie: Hi Peter, will you give us your report as usual? Haven't seen your report for long time and people rely on your report before going out. Lots of anglers saying the shoreline is not too safe.
