If there was a fav spot of mine to fish from shore on simcoe, I would say right in Barrie off of lakeshore, right behind hooters (just so everyone knows where it is) lol, you park 50 meters from fishing spots, ya you have to pay for parking during the week, but I have had awesome days using walleye rigs with minnows and a bell sinker. Many spots to fish from shore but it can get windy. I take my dog, he loves it there. Many dogs are off leash and everyone is friendly. Just to help some members out  Peter, your doing an awesome thing here by sharing so others can have a good time. Cheers

Got a few hours tomorrow eve to head out and try a new off shore fishing spot, is this spot ok? I'd be happy with a few pan fish, although if the ocasional monster were to swim by I wouldn't mind
